We haven’t got so big that you simply become a name in a system. We know all our clients and care deeply about each one.

Our services are provided by like-minded, life-experienced, mature people. The one thing they all share is that they are caring, compassionate and kind. We often go above and beyond and never cut a visit short. Seniors Helping Seniors isn’t just a tagline, it genuinely works!

Everyone is different and that is why we offer a range of services to suit each client’s needs. The fact we don’t do complex care or personal care, typically means we have more time to focus on you and your well-being. Our services aren’t rushed and our visits are enjoyed. Not everyone needs personal care and can live independently for many years with the kind of help we offer. If and when the time does come for personal / nursing care, we are happy to work alongside other providers, maintaining continuity.

The best outcomes are founded on trust, rapport and familiarity. We know that, as it is what our clients tell us. That is why you will get the same person visiting each time, or if you are taking multiple visits each week, we will put a small team in place of two to three people. We will never send an unknown carer to you, simply to fill a visit.

Quality care is not a case of box ticking and rushing to the next client. Sadly, it is common place in the sector. At Seniors Helping Seniors, we believe 1hr is the minimum required to do tasks properly, but also ensure companionship is allowed to form. Many clients start with a 1hr visit, but are happy to increase once they see the benefits of regular, friendly help.

You are not tied into any contracts. Flexibility to evolve your care plan and needs always rests with you. Need to increase hours or visits? Just let us know. Have a prior engagement meaning you need to cancel a visit? Just let us know. All we ask is sufficient notice. This is help, but on your terms.

We turn up when we say we will. It is important to us as a business, but thankfully it is also very important to our carers. They take absolute pride in being reliable.

As the name suggests, our home help & companionship service is based upon seniors helping seniors. Our care team is typically made up of people in their late 40’s, through to their 70’s. They are amazing people that we are so proud to have working with us. They are able to relate more easily to you, share interests, concerns and build a trusting relationship.

Our home care service is like getting a little help from friends. It is relaxed, discrete and comfortable. 

We genuinely care about everyone that works with us. We are a Living Wage Employer and champion a fair wage for the sector. We are also signed up to the Good Business Charter. It pretty much means we do things the right way. In a sector that is often dealt negative press, we want to show that high quality care is achieveable and has great benefits for both client and employee.
